A tally from Johns Hopkins University showed 100,047 deaths as of Wednesday evening. More than 5.6 million people have contracted the coronavirus across the globe, with the U.S. accounting for roughly 30% of total cases.

To have reached such a mile stone is a terrible thing to behold. For these people have had their lives taken away from them and never to once again be returned. With all our science and knowledge, still one of the products of mother nature raises up her hand and brings it down upon us as a hammer blow such as these previously unknown virus.

at least the numbers are going down in majority of the first world countries. Lets hope, this trend continues and all of us learn sth good from this.
