Quiz: who was this La Femme Fatale?

There was a Femme Fatale involved in many scandals. She eventually died shot by a lover.

She was Norvegian but she was also linked to a Polish guy (who by the way stole a wife from Kasprowicz, I asked about another Kasprowicz liason in the other post).

She was also involed in a relationship with a famous world-known painter.

Who is she?

Gosh, I'm not sure. But, she does look familiar.

you are right that this painting was done by Munch and it also show him and Przybyszewski, but who is this girl?

She is not Munch's wife. She was his girlfriend but eventually she married Przybyszewski, later Przybyszewski left her for other women, among others - for Kasprowicz's wife.
When Kasprowicz wife met Przybyszewski, she decided to leave Kasprowicz and her two small daughters and follow Przybyszewski.

Przybyszewski was a jerk also, since he had multiple relationships in the same time several times, many kids etc etc

I think her name was Dagny (?) a Norwegian writer, who enjoyed sleeping around.

yes, you are right, of course. But Przybyszewski was even worse....

This is a rather strange lady; her appearance is already quite unique. She is very beautiful; most people think she is rather seductive, dark, a pair of extremely strange eyes. Character: well, you would hardly hold it in high regard – but one ought to judge her a little differently than one would people in general. Vague, insecure, hardly ever knows what she wants, most whimsical, very restless – all in all a difficult lady to handle. A great coquette, more talented than any other lady I have met – but too little superior, too little cold and calculating to be a coquette with the right result. She does not, in other words, have the correct lack of compassion for the victim. Had she been in possession of it, she would have been much happier then she is now.
