I am readng some biographical notes and I just learned that Hendrik Antoon Lorentz, was bond in Arnhem. Does the house where he was born still exist? Lorents was the father of relativity, he predicted new trandormation, Einsteins used it for relativity.

The statue of Hendrik Antoon Lorentz in the Sonsbeekpark in Arnhem
I made this video about Hendrik Lorentz with a Dutch poet a few years back
Unfortunately I can't translate the poem. The images speak for themselves

Funeral of prof. Lorentz in Haarlem (1928) in Haarlem (Netherlands)Jaga,
For generations of Arnhem people Lorentz was a well known figure as a statue in that wonderful Sonsbeek park. Couples in love sat at the stairs under the statue. Couples (pairs) who married had their marriage images token with Lorentz in the background. Students had their lunch break at the stairs of the statue. The statue fits well with the surrounding old park trees and the English garden landscape style of the Sonsbeek park.Lorentz-monument Park Sonsbeek in Arnhem, the NetherlandsCheers, Pieter

Pieter, thanks for approaching Lorentz from a different angle. This Lorentz monument is like Mickiewicz monument in Krakow:

Arnhem is more intriguing city than I ever thought
