In the documentary on Dutch tv I saw the 2 planes hitting the World Trade Centre buildings from various sides. From close up to distance. I saw people in their apartments a few blocks away. I saw the pannick, the hysteria, the grief, the disbelief, the anger, the shock and the amazement in the eyes of these various American people in and outside their homes, on balconies, on rooftops in Manhattan. Young parents concerned for their kid. Parents who wondered how they could get their children from school. Crying people who had friends or colleagues living or working nearby or inside the World Trade Centre. I saw the images again of the fire fighters in one of the World Trade Towers during the actual attack. I saw the terrible images again of the people who jumped from the towers, because they couldn't stand the heat and didn't want to die being burned or smoked alive. We can't judge these people and their images of flying in the air, being there for one moment in that image for ever in the air. It is an iconic image.

Pieter and Friends
It is difficult to understand what ever reasoning brought this all on and conducted by some idiots to cause the deaths of so many people for no good reason. For what My self understand, those folks as first responders and others exposed to the residue from the air borne dust are as yet suffering health issues.
The recorded views of people falling from the building windows is a shock to the senses even to the present. It is so difficult to emagine the desperation of these people to jump out of windows from such a height to sure death to escape being burnt alive.
