Pieter
My self was to hold off with responding to this presentation for the reason as it should be for Polish people as pride in their own country. But, as noticed, my response decision was with fault.
I was to find this presentation you have so spent time and energy in research and presentation was not of fault, but indeed so a learning project myself was to take advantage of. For I was not aware of the land layout as being flat, for some reason my impression beforehand was Poland was of rolling hills, but as your presentation disclosed, this was not so.
Other details that were of my learning curve, was the population was primarily ethnic which I found interesting considering of its close borders to other states which in such manner would have induced cross marriages and cross non-Polish seasonal workers that decided not to leave.
From other past discussions as with Jaga, I was aware of much Polish early history dealing with the past Teutonic knights and of any of the early built castles of that period. But much other details dealing before the war was missing. At least this detailed presentation you have provided has filled in many missing details I was not aware of.
