Jaga,
I can understand that. Each nation tries to supports it's own farmers and food industries. Ukraine is one of the largest grain producers in the world, so a threat to the sell of Polish grain inside Poland and outside Poland. Each nation tries to protect it's own agricultural sector in these challenging times of food shortages, the Nitrogen and Carbon dioxide problems.
Cheers, Pieter

Jaga As Pieter has fore mentioned, this indeed so damages the European grain prices when cost of farmers of doing business has become so dear. But, is a question of why to dump the European grain market when this food is very much needed in many of the African states such as Zimbabwe and others. Other then transport cost, it makes little sense to short transport only to Europe. learningenglish.voanews.com/a/un-grain-shortage-could-affect-much-of-africa-/6567051.htmlKarl

Hello Pieter and Karl,
yes, I agree with you. I can understand that also. Too bad that Ukraine could not sell their grain to other nations in need because of the ports blockage.
Polish farmers need to be able to sell their grains in their own country.
