Pieter, thanks for posting. The girl from Ipanema is one of my most favorite songs. This is apparently one of the most popular songs worldwide. It is hard to see so many people who used to be popular during our childhood to die. I guess, we are not getting any younger also. The other songs are also good and they have this relaxing style of samba.

Pieter
My self as with Jaga, am saddened by the loss of Astrud Gilberto, for I do remember her well as the girl with the straight face whilst singing. Most of Brazilian music was enjoyed especially those selections composed by Antonio Jobim.
Brazil has lost a favourite daughter with Astrud Gilberto, she will be well missed.

Karl and Pieter, while listening to other songs by Astrud I started enjoying simplistic fashion of 1960s. It is so refreshing to have the style of modern art and abstraction rather than luxury.
