Staying with the aftermath of the Nato summit, Victor Orban has suggested that there would be peace in Ukraine if the US wanted peace. He went on to say that Nato should be circumspect about giving in to Ukrainian demands.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Saturday laid blame on the European Union for prolonging Russia’s war in Ukraine, doubling down on his government’s insistence that supporting Kyiv in the war was a mistaken strategy for European countries.
Speaking at an annual state of the nation address in Budapest, Orban said that the EU had prevented peace talks for refusing to maintain their economic relationships with Russia.
Orban reiterated that the conflict was not between "the armies of good and evil," but rather between two Slavic countries that are fighting against each other.
"This is their war, not ours,” he added.
Carrying the slogan “Peace and Security,” Orban’s nearly hour-long address focused largely on the war in Ukraine, approaching its one-year mark on Feb. 24.
