Interesting will be the cause and effect of this move as previously promised by Chancellor Scholz, what is more interesting is a question of why Germany and not Poland. For some time, Poland has been advertising of their great military buildup as a feather in their hat and yet moving aside for German arms move up. But as an incentive, the Lithuanian Government has previously made provisions for troop accommodations which was a nice invitation. But then comes the cost of moving all this equipment, manpower and support supplies as well as a secure support rout. For at present this comes through Poland and if for whatever reason that the Poland Government sees fit, they could very well caught off any transport across Polish soil and in effect use whatever comes to mind, to entrap German troops and equipment as an island caught off from German home base.
The above perhaps to many will sound silly as the sky is falling, but it is mindful that the political map is always at hand for those few in the Polish Government that fully remembers the last war and invasion of 1939.
