Over 10 thousand people died among them at least 3 thousand children. People sometimes ask why there are so many children there - I guess, since these people have not too much to do and not too much hope that many of them survive - at least they may have hope in the future generation.
here is more about their awful fate... frankly how can you make these children to love Israel since they have to go through so much trauma?

Gaza becomes ‘a graveyard for children’ as Israel intensifies airstrikes By Loay Ayyoub, Miriam Berger and Hajar Harb November 2, 2023 at 4:19 p.m. EDT
KHAN YOUNIS, Gaza Strip — Youssef Sharaf has been trying for more than a week to dig out the bodies of his four children, buried under his destroyed home in Gaza City.
His parents and his wife were killed in the same attack. So were his three brothers and two sisters, his two uncles and their spouses — and so many of their children.
“All the families there were civilians who were looking for a simple life,” he told The Washington Post by phone. “We thought we lived in a safe place.”
Sharaf, 38, was out distributing food to displaced Gazans on Oct. 25 when he got a call about an Israeli strike on his family’s apartment tower. He raced back but it was too late. The intensity of the blast had collapsed the multistory building.
His three daughters — Malak, 11, Yasmin, 6, and Nour, 3 — and his only son, 10-year-old Malik, were lost beneath the rubble.
“Can you imagine my pain?” he asked.

The BBC was very friendly towards Israel, but now they change the tune since Israel under Netanyahu is bombing wherever they feel like.

Strikes on south Gaza: BBC verifies attacks in areas of ‘safety’
Since the Israeli military issued the first of several instructions for civilians to evacuate north Gaza, hundreds of thousands of Gazans have moved to the south of the strip. But the south has continued to come under Israeli bombardment, leading the UN and other aid organisations to warn that nowhere in Gaza is safe for civilians.
To better understand the risk to civilians in south Gaza, BBC Verify has identified and analysed four specific instances of strikes in that region. We also looked at some of the warnings and evacuation instructions that were issued to Gazan civilians, including some advising them to move to certain areas in the south.
Some of these warnings were accompanied by maps with arrows pointing to vaguely defined areas to move towards. Three strikes we examined hit within, or close to, those areas in the days after the warnings were issued.
The IDF has said that it communicates with Gaza's residents in a variety of ways, including leaflet drops, social media posts in Arabic, and warnings issued through civilian and international organisations. In this piece we have examined the IDF's instructions posted on social media.

Pieter, thanks for posting. There is a big problem with the US trying to have it both ways - helping Israel financially and not imposing any rules for Israel against killing civilians, and then helping the Gaza civilians with humanitarian help after Israel just bombed the place

I read more through the weekend and the mass media seem to change the tone since 10 thousands deaths among them 65% are women and children is a threshold which is much higher than what Israel did in the past. They usually kill 10 Palestinians for one Jew, so in this case they should kill 14,000 people, which unfortunately they probably did or will do soon, since many people are still under the buildings. Netanyahu never took personal responsibility for the failure to recognize attack on Israel on October 7. Israeli are very upset about it also. Below is one of the stories: www.cnn.com/videos/world/2023/11/04/palestinian-american-family-relatives-killed-gaza-rosales-pkg-vpx.cnnFamily mourns the loss of three generations killed in an airstrike in Gaza
