Pieter and Jaga
Having read the presentation report on Geert Wilders, rather I agree or not, matters little, it is still an opinion of another's mind. I do agree though, Mr. Wilders is somewhat radical with his outspoken ideas and thoughts, but in the long run, how far is he off?
For myself have not the option to speak for the Dutch, but for Germany, Mr. Wilders has a clear point that must be considered. For one point, Brussels needs be shaken up, for they have grown too big for their pants. For over time, Brussels has advanced from being a central coordinator of the union of states, or as The EU. As with the original of borderless states which in self is the manner of free travel without needs of border control. This in self is a manner of free trade of which to create a better market of German products and services on the home continent that comprises our Europe. This, one of the most important aspects of the Schengen treaty that was fully supported by German industry.
But in this time, Brussels has gradually transformed into an imitation dictatorship imitating as a central command, and this is not what we need. For we suffered a disastrous war and do not need another repeat. For the present, Brussels uses funding distribution as a club to suffer states that do not come up to their expectations, for in difference, each state in the EU is a Sovreign state with its own needs served by its laws and governance, in this, Brussels needs be to stay out of the kitchen and mind its own store.
We need outspoken people such as Mr. Wilders if anything, to keep our respective politicians honest.
Rather my own thoughts are off, matters little, it is the results that matters.
In closing, how on earth do you keep up with currant Dutch politics, it is so vast and complicated as to be mind boggling.

Hello Pieter and Karl,
thanks for posting the article. I also agree with Karl that Brussel needs to change and do not act as a super-government. The anti-immigration policies of many European countries are not done on the dessert but it comes from the reality of many Mideast people moving to Western Europe and changing landscape. The EU policies should be flexible in this aspect.
I just heard that immigrants from Italy would be moved to Albania.
Referring to Wilders he might have a hard time to form a coalition government.
