In memory of Princess Diana, the Queen of Hearts/The People’s Princess She was killed in very peculiar circumstances in a car crash 10 years ago today (31 August 1997) in a Paris underpass. She is remembered by millions of people worldwide for her empathy for those who were sick, disabled, or not helped in a variety of ways. The photographs shown below represent the thousands of photographs taken of her, principally by the paparazzi who hounded her every movements (although it must be said that on occasions she used them to her advantage). When she died the world lost a very beautiful, helping, empathic person and she will be remembered in people’s minds and prayers for many years to come. She was not a paragon of virtue all the time, but she was a person who could not help winning people’s hearts. The crash and her death are well recorded and the chase through the Paris streets of the car containing her and Dodi El Fayad has been principally blamed on the overenthusiastic paparazzi, although when deaths due to conspiracy theories are discussed, her death is always included. We shall never know. May she enjoy everlasting peace and happiness. Sorry about the quality of the images. Pray for her along with me and thousands throughout the world. Leslie (This was posted in the UK at 5 minutes past midnight of 30 August, that is 5 minutes into 31 August 2007)

Leslie its still the day before but when I wake up in the morning I will be thinking of you both all day. We will never forget her. I can't believe one of your Royal reporters stated in about 10 years it will die down and no one will think of her as much. What tree did he fall out of. Camilla made a wise decision for once to stay away. The gaul to even think to be there.

I don't think Princess Diana ever visited Bornheim, but somewhere I have seen that she may have done (see my posting of 31 August in Non-Polish photos) Leslie
