Happy Halloween everyone! I'm looking forward to a more traditional All Saints here in Poland in the next couple of days.
The whole country will be closed tomorrow, thanks to Premier Ducky's personal beliefs. Friday will be nothing happening as everyone will take that day off to join up tomorrow with the weekend.

Not only his. Also the Union of Polish Traders or something as well as the Church pressed on passing this law. 12 days a year are obligatorily free now. I don`t mind - let hired people have a holiday too. We can do our shopping a day before, can`t we?

Warsaw was VERY quiet this All Saints thanks to the law of closing everything. I disagree with the law violently in terms of forcing religious beliefs, restricting people's ability to earn extra money by working, telling us when we can and can't go shopping, etc..... but I do like the city when it is quiet.

Oh, come on, you will survive those 12 days a year! PS> Besides, don`t be so selfish, don`t think only about yourself and about satisfying your needs! hahahaha Other people have their needs too and one of them can be spending this time with their families in the cemetery instead of serving forgetful or lazy customers who didn`t do their shopping a day before!

Pawian, I don't want to go shopping but I really detest people telling me when I'm not allowed to go shopping. Many of us work very hard every week and sometimes these holidays are the ideal opportunity to get something done. But we're supposed to lurk around graveyards like good Catholics instead just because Kaczynski says so. We did all our shopping in advance this year. We do every year in fact. So I was agreeing with you. I like it when the shops are closed and the town is quiet BUT that does not stop me complaining about being told what to do on religious issues by a (bad) politician.

Pawian, I don't want to go shopping but I really detest people telling me when I'm not allowed to go shopping. With this kind of attitude you resemble a Pole very much. Most Poles are known to detest any type of government which tells them to do something. They voted against PiS two weeks ago. Of course, there are also Poles who support the government`s decrees. They voted for PiS. hahahahahaha it seems you felt forced to visit graveyards in Poland. Was it imposed on you only by Kaczynski`s legislation or something else too? Or somebody ? hahahahahaha Even if the statistics about over 90% Catholic believers in Poland are exaggerated, it is still so that the majority of Poles are Catholics. To respect this majority, in a democratic country, the religious holidays should be observed in accordance with the Church`s teaching which this majority accept. Democracy is 51 to 50. The last Parliament passed this law, not only Kaczyński. Do you want to start a rebellion and overthrow our young Polish democracy? Very unusual - a Brit rebelling against religion in Poland hahahahahaha

Think of me as the Polish version of Che Guevara! Good. But make sure you don`t run into any Bolivians in the Warsaw jungle. We don`t want to lose you!!! hahahahahahaha
