[glow=red,2,300]Blessed Christmas to all of you here at the Forum![/glow]Husband and I are enjoying the weather here in Virginia that is warmer than in western Massachusetts. We are still getting organized and settled in our new (very) little home. We will make a trip back to Massachusetts to bring back more "stuff" from our house there...maybe have a huge lawn / garage sale. I di not have as much time to write (yet) as I thought I would I have a whole list of articles that I intended to do for both Jaga and Suite101. What happened? My grandsons gave me an early Christms present A virus which I hope will not turn into pneumonia. So, no Weigelea for me this year. Someone came about three hours back to drive Bill to my daughter's home. Having a virus is not the best way to get out of cooking! Love to you all... Georgene (Gardenmoma)

Sorry to hear you are not feeling up to par for Christmas...I hope it passes real soon. One year I had just finished washing the last of the dishes and suddenly got very ill. It was the worse flu I ever had in my life todate. I still wonder about that because it was light a light switch on / off how it happened. I have the same photo as you from Oplatek. Good luck in your new home.

Blessed Christmas to all. Georgene, I hope you would not have pneumonia!!! We are stuck in IF for tonight, but according to weather predictions it should be better tomorrow.
Holly's husband is also sick, she worries. This is a bad time of the year, cold weather ....

In Poland Christmas is a two layer experience. Of course it is mainly a joyful event. But underneath all people try to remember those who were less lucky than we are, those who had to struggle or even die for our Polishness. And those who simply were at the table with us, just ... a year... ten years...a while ago... and who are now gone to the other side... We all somehow are joined in joy today... Merry Christmas to all of you Wesołych Świąt Wam wszystkimTwo songs to accompany the wishes. None is a typical Polish carol, each represents one layer of Christmas the Polish way Kaczmarski, Gintowski, Łapiński - Wigilia na Syberii pl.youtube.com/watch?v=uVIPp6LJ7MUVerba - Ten czas pl.youtube.com/watch?v=CrpjO7v3mFwLiwia
