Prime minister Tusk came in a regular airplane in a business class (since the president has a governmental airplane in his disposal). Here is more information about it: AP interview: Tusk says Bush's assurances on military aid move missile defense talks forwardWASHINGTON: Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk says that President George W. Bush on Monday removed key stumbling blocks in negotiations to allow U.S. missile defense interceptors on Polish soil. Negotiators appear hung up over Poland's demand for help in upgrading its military in exchange for allowing the interceptors. Tusk tells The Associated Press that Bush's assurances "are very convincing" and have given him greater confidence in the negotiations. Bush says the United States recognizes the need for Polish forces to be modernized, and "we're responding." www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/03/10/america/NA-GEN-US-Poland.phpThe Polish government argues that the security backing is necessary because Russian has threatened Poland over the missile issue.

How could the WAR master say no to Tusk's nogoitiations. "W" loves the military, so here goes more taxpayer money down the tubes. Can't blame Tusk for getting payback for Polish support in Iraq(God knows only they, Britain Australia,Japan, Italy and some others I can't recall participated in this debacle) for the placement of defense missiles on the edge of the Baltic. American retiree's or ex-pats in the EU who worry about continuing to afford living abroard may want to consider taking their deflated Soc.Sec. payments back home. Your dollar now does better at home.
