you can see it here: miasta.gazeta.pl/warszawa/1786092,34862,3408794.html one of the biggest parades in support of homosexuals ever in Warsaw. Lots of ranbows, dresses etc were not that shocking as in Germany in earlier parade

Homosexuals wearing dresses in a parade is a misrepresentation of the gay community at large. Unfortunetley ignorant and unsophisticated peoples will take this image and come to the conclusion that most gays are cross dressing pedophiles. Basically 5% of the worlds population is homosexual. Its not a new phenomenon. I know a lot of people give God credit for the creation of man and woman. If thats the case maybe they should ask God ( in their own personel way ) why he created homosexuals? If they are so disgusted with it, blame him.

Extravaganza, exotic appearances, drag queens, the physical culture and an alternative sort of carnaval and night life is one side of the Gay world, that many of them live decent bourgeois lives, are even quite common and even conservative. Many of them are not differant from their straight fellow citizens. Since I come from the art world I can destinguish Gay men quite easily from straight guys, by knowledge of their behavior, customs and attitudes. A lot of them have creative professions, from fashion designers, painters, photographers, dancers, musicians, artistic flowershops, writers, poets, make up artists, entrepreneurs in cultural and invovative fields. The Camp, cults, trends and retro in their culture is part of their extraveganza and exhibitionism. But most of them live common, anonimous, quiet lives. Because they have their own networks, communities, horeca, vacation resorts, parties, often exlcusivly Gay social life, they addobt behaviours, certain traditions, etiquettes, habbits and stiles of eachother. One of my best friends changes quite a lot after his late comming out in his early twenties, he became differant due to the Gay scene, more self aware, a little bit militant and more at ease with himself. The latest trend in the gay world is that the Gay clubs and bars are out, and mixed social life and partying is in. The emancipation of the Gays in the Netherlands made that they feel at home in straight (hetrosexual) restaurants, bars, clubs and parties, and live adult lives with their straight colleages, families, friends and fellow citizens/compatriots.
