My, I have a lot of photo viewing to get through! Where to start? Nancy. I assume you like cats? Here is Winston, the latest addition to our family, as of two days ago:

scatts Now you be sure to take care of Mr. Winston For he is a nice kitty and by his face, he has/owns a very loving and caring family. Although, I am not a cat lover. I do like animals and am a magnet to them, just afraid of big dogs with big teeth, and they get hair on my cloths rubbing around. Do you bath Winston? Once used to water, with my Siamese, she was bathed once weekly and seemed to like it. I think it was the nice dry rubbing she received after removal from the tub. When angered, she would cross her eyes and stare at people, until talked to, to leave people alone, then she would stalk into the bedroom and sulk. Charles

Scatt, I have been clicking my way thru your galleries and am so impressed with your work. You are a great photographer with a great creative eye. Love the fotos of Zosia. I love the way you take close ups of her and the play of light you capture. I think I will pay attention and maybe improve my photo taking. I love the Warhol shot of your wife ....I am trying to take some classes on line so I can learn some of those features on my PSP program. Is it safe to assume your Nikon is a digital (D70). I have an old Nikon but it is not a digital

Scatts I wish I'd known you as a member at the time I was at the Book Fair - we could have met up. I write books (31 since 1983) on all aspects of training - training of trainers, management skills of various sorts, interpersonal skills, behavioural skills, meetings management, planning and designing training etc. In fact just about everything about training and its peripherals. I was at the Wolters Kluwer stand (it now incorporates a lot of publishers etc) signing my latest book which WK published (in Polish) in May - 'Efektywne Szkolenie', the third book I have had published in Poland. Ain't I wonderful!!! (but why am I not rich - apart from when I had my second wife who had expensive tastes!!). Leslie

Rdy - thanks for the encouraging comments. Yes, at the moment I do use a D70 digital Nikon and I like the whole digital thing very much. I also have an F100 Nikon film camera but it lies lonely in a cupboard. I'll get it back out one day for sure. I'm super keen to get the D200 which I think is the ultimate digital body for me. Then I just need a bunch of new lenses and more time.......... I use photoshop CS2 for the 'processing', so if you need any help, just ask.
Leslie - sounds interesting. I'm sure there will be more opportunities to meet up. Edited to add that 31 is one hell of a number of books! Must keep you pretty busy. I've been trying to write one myself for the last 3 years but it is not driving me to write it enough. I think I need a new idea, although the current idea would make a good read. Fiction, BTW.

Nancy - love, love, love all the 1976 shots!
RDY - fantastic shot of JPII with the dove. Also, small world syndrome, there I was yesterday directing a Mexican tour guide from Cancun, who was on the train to Warsaw with us, to the Novotel hotel and here I am today looking at your picture of it when it was being transformed from the old Forum Hotel (hooker central) into the Novotel! I see you also have a few shots of Munchen where I lived for about two years. Ah, the memories come flooding back...

scatts: Thanks for the compliment. I see above you mentioned the Nikon D70 and D200 - I would dearly love to have one of those - only Nikon optics for me, although I read recently that there is a new Sony cam that is very good, and that they actually make some of Nikon's components.
Is photography a hobby for you or perhaps part of your job? Have you trained anywhere or are you self-taught? (please pardon my curiosity ...)
