Aha! But that's way less than 50% of the population so it hardly counts as a poor opinion of all Poles! Seriously though, I should clarify because I wouldn't want you to get the wrong end of the stick. I could say just as many, possibly more, bad things about English men. Those comments were given in a discussion about feminism and in particular Polish females. In my experience, primarily work but also private, many Polish men do display the characteristics I mentioned. Many, by no means all, but much more so than the ladies. This is good for me, because if all Polish men were superstars it would be harder for me to survive here. So, it's a trait I think some Polish men should work on but for me, I'm quite happy to keep it that way, and so, it seems, are some Polish men. So we'll all get along just fine! Whatever I may say in here should never be taken as an indication that I have some kind of a problem with Poland, or of Poles generally. My underlying feeling is extremely positive, much more positive it seems than the very high number of Poles abandoning the country and then saying bad things about it to the British press. I love the place and most of the people (a higher percentage than I liked in the UK), I feel very at home here, I intend to obtain a Polish passport, I have no intention of leaving, ever. However, no matter how much I like the place it won't stop me saying what I genuinely think as I'm not terribly concerned about "keeping up appearances". I hope this helps?

Absolutely! You've decribed my wife and me so well that I needed some explanation how did you know all that, Scatts. Thanks.
