We have a bitter-sweet day in Poland. All media talk about Poland first day in the so called 'Schengen' region. Which means no passport controls in the region in yellow Sweetness is obvious. It is rather normality than sweetness. And the bitter taste? The pass control on the line in red will be even stronger...

Livia
Excellent map of {None Borders}. You do have in your country an excellent organization to handle the border security concerns, that of {Frontex} located in Warsaw. Not sure at moment, but believe still directed by {Colonel Laitinen}. They have exhibited in recent past a certain amount of heavy handling of border issues, but for the most part, a very professional organization.
For those unsure of {what is Schengen}, it is a village in Luxembourg as location of signature of this agreement in 1985}.
If perhaps you would not be offended, I will then present a companion thread to this of yours?

Livia,
interesting map. I am glad Poles are a part of "better" Europe. I am a bit worried about passing the boarders to the East. I remember how long and cumbersome was to pass Russian boarders in the past!
