Chopin's Heart................ Church of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic place of worship in downtown Warsaw, directly opposite the main Warsaw University campus, it is one of the most notable baroque churches in Poland's capital. Before Chopin's funeral in 1849, pursuant to his dying wish, his heart was removed due to his fear of being buried alive. His heart was taken by his sister in an urn to Warsaw. There it remains sealed within a pillar of the Holy Cross Church, beneath an inscription from Matthew VI:21: "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Source: Wikipedia)
