The press reports that Polish Church officials want a least part or all of John Pauls heart to be brought back to Poland. I thought about this for a while. I understand that Paderewski's heart was interned in the Polish homeland, so it wouldn't be a first, thats for sure. However, shouldn't his body be left in peace? If he wanted, he could have requested his burial be in Poland. But he didn't. I have a feeling if his heart was brought back to Poland, it would become a tourist site of sorts, like his boyhood home has become. Poland has named streets, Churches, buildings and god knows what else after him. Does he have to be " dug up" and have his heart dug up to make Polish Church officials happy? I vote no.

george- Let the man and his heart rest in peace. This seems a blatant attempt to improve revenue for the Po;ish Church. For shame!
