They told me to buy a small car Franek, good choice, it fits you perfectly! They should start doing cars in all the sizes, petite, small, medium, large...XXXXL, then we could save on gas

Franek & Jaga, When i think of small Polish car, I think of the Polish version of the Fiat 126. They always seemed to be driven by some beefy Polish fellow that took up three of the four seats in the vehicle. Really, it seemed to be the most extreme case of BIG drivers and TINY cars that I have ever seen. On a google search I only came up with these photos. I wish I had one of my own to share. Perhaps I will send you the German VW Beetle Polezei car that I photographed in Munich ... and Here is a site that supposedly offers videos of the Fiat 126 / Maluch, in Polish. www.leechvideo.com/video/view460864.htmlserwis nocny zlot fiat 126p en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_126 says: Engine capacity gradually increased from 594 cc to 652 cc and then to 704 cc with 26 HP The car continued however to be manufactured by FSM in Poland, where the 126 was produced from 1973 to 2000 as the Polski Fiat 126p. 126p with water-cooled engine - Polish own construction The total number of 126 produced is estimated at c. 1,300,000 in Italy, 3,300,000 in Poland and an unknown number in Yugoslavia. It was produced by Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (FSM) in Bielsko-Biała and Tychy under Italian Fiat license. Due to a relatively low price it used to be very popular in Poland and was arguably the most popular car in Poland in 1980s. Its very small size gave it the nickname Maluch ("the small one"

This reminds me of my own personal story. When I first met my ex, he offered to give me a ride home. I declined the offer but as I saw him drive away I cracked up laughing to myself. There was this huge guy...tall, not weight wise getting into a VW. The last thing I expected. ;D Why do big people buy small cars and little people drive around in huge tanks. You see it all the time. (of course this has nothing to do with gas prices)
Todays news they said people are foregoing breakfast for gas. Some walking to the grocery store....why not. Maybe this will be the start of America getting into shape and doing more walking than driving. In California the price of gas has hit over 4.00 a gal already.
