;D At last, a break in my heavy schedual and a chance to get back to the forum. I decided to do a little houskeeping near my computer installiation, so I puled my desk back and WOW!! where did all those cables and wall warts (gadget power supplies) come from? I remember adding a few gadgets and gi dgets this past winter, but iI did not realize that what i put in added up to a rats nest. There were a couple of spider webs but at least those webs were coherent compared to my mess. I finelly cleaned it up a bit and put everything back in it's place I wish all those gadgets required the same voltage then I could use only one power source instead of the 8 or 9 different ones.
It is time to upgrade my computer a bit, so I decided to put in a new video card. The card is not the high or middle end type that cost as much as a new computer but it is a slight upgrade from the one I now have . Wouldn't you know it, the card requires a different power supply than what I now have in my machine. Right now . The power supply that i should get tomorrow is a 600watt version with two 12V. 20Amp busses. Just a side note. If you plan on upgrading your video card, better check the power supply requirements or you might hear a lot of alarms and whistles.
I did have a dial-up analog telephone but I scrapped it for a digital system from the local cable company (the same one that serves as my ISP. The gain, lower phone bills with more options than the phone company. Now that I am done with all the 1st Communion Partys etc. I can now drop in to the forum more often. ;D
