There are many religions but none equals Christianity! I do not care what the Moslems, the Jews, the Buddhists, or anyone else, say. Ours is the only creed on earth that has a Savior who has risen from the dead! Having this unsurmountable advantage, we look at the future with a hope that no other religion can muster! Just look at Ophrah's New-Age "horizontal" worship of a "Force." It's an elitist and futile idolatry of the "powers of nature." Or look at Iran's ayatollahs al-Sistani and Ali Khamenei, together with their lieutenant, al-Sadr. Their religion includes exposing women, children, and men, young and old, to unnecessary death in Iraq! Moslems, in fact, try to "save themselves," and to assure themselves the paradise ... many by just blowing themselves up! And, the more innocent lives they take with them, the more "saved" they feel. The Jews have a Beautiful One God, Yehwah Ehad , whom we of course all share. But even they keep rejecting the Messiah who already came! This makes their lives veritably miserable and, to compensate for their misery, they stubbornly worship "mammon in the promised land" ... on earth! The Buddhists "save themselves" by atoning for an endless "negative Karma." Theirs is a hopeless religion, indeed. Sometimes they suffer for many generations, convinced that "life is a dead end for sinners," anyway. All in vain, for all these religions rely on self-salvation! Only Christians know by faith that their Savior lives, that He has already saved them, and that He is coming back because He loves them! Paradoxically, the truth of God is that all human beings have been saved by Christ - Christians, Moslems, Jews, Buddhists, and the rest! But, sadly, many people still do not believe this, and thus only the Christians, knowing that their afterlife is bright, have a real reason to rejoice!

Nathaniel,
You are entitled to your opinion. However, those not being christians would argue with you. I guess in the end we will see which was right or not.

Reminds me of the song "Losing my Religion" by REM which was based on a story written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings"

Nathanael, as was said earlier you are entitled to your opinions. But if you really so much want your religion to be more spread, please remain silent and keep this kind of opinions to yourself. That's a sincere piece of advice. It really is.

Nathanael
Would not this be arrogant and a supposition? For how are we to know for that there are many houses of God, but just under a different name?
For is not the God of Israel, also the same for Christianity and that also of Islam? For Abraham was the father of Arabs and he was an Israeli.

The dialogue I mean is with all those who feel they need to defend their religion! Jim is right that some "Christians" might argue with me. That's what this post calls for: an intelligent argument! Tufta on the other hand needs to be admonished. He has the right to his opinion, period. But he has no right to question mine, or to give me advice "not to express them." Is this forum becoming so cheap that all we hear is cheap shots ad hominem, of this kind? I say to Tufta. Just stay with your opinions, but don't encroach on mine! It is I who decide what opinions to have, or not to have!

Look heres the deal. I think most people nowadays don't care if one thinks their religion is better than others. They think if it makes you a better person and makes you happy, then theres the deal. People , frankly get turned off when one expresses that their religion is somehow more pure or truthful or better than others. I don't care if you think that the moon is God. As long as it makes you happy and a moral person . I know it drives established religions crazy, but thats the realality. People are much smarter and and more independent today. Those are the facts and those who are hell bent on trying to prove their religion is somehow better should get over it. Be proud and leave others alone
