I wish these kids had something else - safer and cheaper to do rather.
I remember when I was once vacationing in a small village in southeastern Poland the kids there were just racing on the motorbikes. It was so noisy! Still, this was nothing compared to racing the cars.

My cousin was a race car driver in Poland when I was there in 98. It appears they love there cars there as they do here. When I was growing up the guys would buy cheap cars, fix them up and race them. They also have done the street racing as in Lodz. This type can be dangerous sometimes so I hope their racing is done with safety in mind. It probably will never go away cause as long as there is an engine there will be some guy ready to fix, polish, reassemble, redo etc. always. It's in their blood ;D

Still, this was nothing compared to racing the cars. On occasion on the autobahn, motor cyclist will become over enthusiastic with speed and over optimistic with their luck in traffic. Resulting in some very horrific accidents usually in the speeds of 200 + Km/h. Then resulting traffic tie up may be up to several hours for investigation and clear up. I am not sure of the terminal speed some of these motorbikes are capable, but the Ninja Kawasakie are very capable of easy 225 Km/h, I think that would about 140 Mp/h USA. Charles
