Just like perestroika in the USSR... except for a lack of Pepsi-Cola in Poland! That seemed to be about the only thing that could be bought sometimes during perestroika in the USSR, as its supply wasn't the responsibility of the then-failing Gosplan, but of Pepsi itself.
