Jaga and Holly, I believe that tornadoes are not the norm in Poland. They're not the norm in the northeastern U.S., yet there was a tornado warning for Manhattan in NYC late Friday afternoon. The saving grace for them are the sky scrapers, other tall buildings and narrow streets. Last year, the outer borough of Brooklyn had a tornado touch down. There the buildings are lower and the streets wider. Lots of damage to property. The world's weather is very scary. Tis said that it is only part of the earth's cycle of changing climate, not global warming caused by our population and pollution. I think(don't know) that it is both.
