Sure, I agree... I was also trying to make a twisted joke which would be kind of illogical A day ago I was in a shop run by a fellow in his mid 80's I would guess, his shop for 30+ years. One of the customers asked him loudly "Do you still love Jesus?" and his answer was "Do you still beat your wife?" The ensuing exchange went from bad to worse and demonstrated how tender it is when personal areas are violated - in this case belief and personal relationships. It ended with the old owner telling the fellow to "Get the f*** out of here!" Another customer told him he worked for Sears and would be fired for talking to a customer like that. Happily being self employed, the owner didn't have to put up with any nonsense and could hand it back. I am not sure any lessons were learned, just positions hardened. I was too late to think I should have shouted "Praise be Allah!" to add to the fun. So torture and violation of person can take many forms. Being beat over the head with someone elses' believe fits the bill. Kai

I would not mind if somebody would greet me this way for instance in Jordan

This are the questions which.... already accuse a person about something ....they assume that you did something even if you did not
