Liberman!?! I have NOTHING but contempt for this man - that he supports McCain alone is enough to make me vote for ANYONE else.

Chris, watch this commedy central fragment. It talks about the issues. I watched your clip. But, how can we discuss it if you did not watch mine? Your clip argues that Obama should be put together with Britney Spears. Somehow Lieberman (who is a double citizen of the Israel and US) argues that this ad is really about lidership. I do not see any connection there. Ronald Reagan was an actor, not Obama. Since Reagan is considered by GOP as a great president, being a part of Hollywood should be the advantage. But this is all just clearly wrong anyways, because neithe Obama or McCain are the part of Hollywood. Lieberman wants a war with Iran to help Israel.

And I did watch it so you can't assume I didn't.
My point here was how can you introduce something off a Comedy station where I watched "real news". I did not say I agree or disagree with the contents but it was very controversial after the airing.
Jon Stewart is a comedian who does politics .....but as in political satire it is exaggerated to get a laugh.

Chris,
he displayed fragments of McCain speech which is a wishful thinking without any real solution how to improve economy.
But if you want 4 more years of Bush and one extra war - you call to vote for 72 years old, who has an experience to be a war veteran.

Jaga ............I don't want either one in there. Neither is the solution or the answer to change or anything positive to move the US forward. To be honest I don't think there is anything that can be fixed. Also the main question about Obama still remaims...is he ready. tinyurl.com/5v3pwq

Obama lost in the polls because he does not use negative character assasination like McCain and his guys do. Unfortunately people believe in negativity. Is Obama ready to lead? Was Bush ready to lead? I don't think so. Bush is considered the worst Am. president ever and he should have all the advantages of being a president son and knowing at least something about the politics. Referring to Afghanistan. Obama stated that Afghanistan is a center of terrorism and he was criticized by many. Now, the US troops in Afghanistan would have extended service - due to problems in Afghanistan, also some troops coming back from Iraq would replace them. Was Obama right that Afghanistan is a center of war of terror?+++++++++++++ Chris, you do not want to watch Ion Stewart commedy and you watch Bobcast - a guy who looks like he already drunk 5 biers. Is he a personification of the simple American guy who support GOP because... Obama is too "uppidy"? GOP tricks Americas simple people into thinking that it support them while in reality it supports the big corporation. Red necks will still vote for Bush and his team in this election and if this is a case America will be even worse off than it is now and much worse off than 8 years ago.

Is he ready to lead. He has 143 days of experience in the Senate. So is this enough to lead America? Or will people in the background guide him?

Is he ready to lead. He has 143 days of experience in the Senate. So is this enough to lead America? Or will people in the background guide him? People in the background guide pres. Bush, especially Cheney and big corporations. McCain changed many of his positions rcently to attract more conservaties and he is getting older. Leadership skills depend not only on the days served in Senate. Last negative advertisements of McCain show how desperate he is. These commercials are the opinions, they serve as negative character assasinations. They do not talk about POLICIES AND ISSUES. Why we do not talk about issues, about program of Obama and McCain but we talk about character? This is exactly what McCain campaign wants.

At least Ion Steward shows some real excepts from what candidates say, this guy is just another Rush Limbaugh but in a milder form. By the way, Rush Limbaugh was three times divorced, treat women badly and was found with Viagra and he represents.... family values party!

Ok 1. Drill or not to drill offshore, ANWAR, Rockies (not really drilling there) plus find alternatives to carbon. In other words short term, mid term and long term goals. 2. Pull out of Iraq, surge work or not? 3. Unilaterally talk to Iran? 4. Global warming, pie in the sky invented my Gore in my humble opinion

McCain campaign want to do this election about Obama instead of the issues. THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF GOP PROPAGANDA MACHINE: Is Obama overexposed?Barack Obama may not be the "biggest celebrity in the world," as Republican rival John McCain ridicules him. But a new poll suggests he might be overexposed. The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press reported today that 48 percent of respondents say they have been hearing too much about Obama in the media. That includes two-thirds of Republicans and 51 percent of independents. Only 10 percent said they have been hearing too little about Obama. And Pew says that that belief might be behind a small, but statistically significant drop -- 22 percent to 16 percent -- of respondents who say they have a less rather than more favorable view of Obama. On the flip side, the respondents want to see more of McCain; 38 percent said they have been hearing too little about McCain, while only 26 percent said they have been hearing too much. www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/08/is_obama_overex.html

Obama's vaunted reputation for bipartisanship is less than meets the eye. The Illinois legislature has long been home to a number of moderate Republicans, less fiscally conservative than their colleagues, many from districts where the parties are closely balanced. It was easy enough to get a few of these Republicans to sign onto small, carefully tailored spending bills directed toward particularly sympathetic recipients. The trouble with Obama's bipartisanship is that it was largely a one-way street. Overcoming initial opposition from Catholic groups, for instance, Obama cosponsored an incremental bill on abortion, requiring hospitals to inform rape victims of morning-after pills. Yet rejecting compromise with the other side, Obama voted against bills that would have curbed partial-birth abortions. In other words, Obama is bipartisan so long as that means asking Republicans to take incremental steps toward his own broader goals. When it comes to compromising with the other side, however, Obama says "take a hike." Obama voted against a bill that would have allowed people in possession of a court order protecting them from some specific individual to carry a concealed weapon in self-defense. The bill failed on a 29-27 vote. Bipartisanship for thee, but not for me: That's how Obama ended up with the most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate. The real Obama? You see him in those charts. Fundamentally, he is a big-government redistributionist who wants above all to aid the poor, particularly the African-American poor. Obama is eager to do so both through race-specific programs and through broad-based social-welfare legislation. "Living wage" legislation may be economically counterproductive, and Obama-backed housing experiments may have ended disastrously, yet Obama is committed to large-scale government solutions to the problem of poverty. Obama's early campaigns are filled with declarations of his sense of mission-a mission rooted in his community organizing days and manifest in his early legislative battles. Recent political back flips notwithstanding, Barack Obama does have an ideological core, and it's no mystery at all to any faithful reader of the Chicago Defender or the Hyde Park Herald. Read the whole article here: www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/015/386abhgm.aspIt is about his early years in Chicago, vote on abortion etc.

Pull out of Iraq, surge work or not? 3. Unilaterally talk to Iran? 4. Global warming, pie in the sky invented my Gore in my humble opinion Jim, you are talking about Obama instead of the previous administration. BEFORE BUSH BECAME A PRESIDENT NOBODY ASKED HIM ABOUT HIS LEERSHIP BUT HE WAS GOING TO RESTORE THE MORALE IN THE WHITE HOUSE. +++1. Drill or not to drill offshore, ANWAR, Rockies (not really drilling there) +++WHY BUSH ADMINISTRATION DID NOT DO ANYTHING FOR 4 YEARS! Bush was promising to develop alternative energy sources. Why gas is so much higher than during Clinton? +++2. Pull out of Iraq, surge work or not?+++Why are we at this war? Why Rumsfeld was against the surge? Why he is not responsible for anything? What about the Abu Graib, no WMD ? 3. Unilaterally talk to Iran? You want another war with neoconservative and Israel just because Iran has a civil nuclear program just like Pakistan, India, Israel etc etc? Maybe there is a double-standard here??? Global warming, pie in the sky invented my Gore in my humble opinionEverybody except some conservatists in America understand that there is a climatic change. Here in America there are people who do not even believe in evolution. The same ones + lobbists of petroleum companies do not "believe" inchange in climate caused by man. ++++++++++++ WHAT ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY OF BUSH ADMINISTRATION FOR WEAK DOLLAR BECAUSE OF BUGDET DEFICIT? You cannot blame Clinton or Obama on that..... I guess, this is also one of the reasons that living in Poland on retirement from the US is becoming more dificult. It was easier during Clinton. Thefore you could charge him for all this Lewinsky nonsense.
