Foreigners come to blows in Warsaw
Created: 31.10.2008 11:06 Nine foreign citizens were hospitalised and some 40 were detained after a scuffle in the Ursus district of Warsaw last night.
Police officers, who had to separate the men, are now trying to establish what triggered off the fight. But as the group was made up of several Vietnamese, an Uzbek and a Kazakh the police need to employ various interpreters.
The men are employees of a company based outside Warsaw. They were returning to a hotel in Ursus by bus when pushing and shoving broke out. When the bus stopped the men started a serious fight which involved in total 50 people. (jm)

Jaga,
That is a common practice in several countries. Sometimes guestworkers or immigrants from differant ethnic background or differant religions clash over cultural, political or economical reasons. In the Netherlands Maroccans and Moluccans clashed, there were problems between people of the Dutch Antilles and Maroccans too. Next to that occasionally drunken Brits or Germans can cause problems when they meet eachother.
In Germany Turks and Kurds clashed and Arabs and Turks are competitors.
So thank god it's not a Polish problem.
Pieter
P.S. - Poland only has differant kind of immigrants!

So thank god it's not a Polish problem. Pieter P.S. - Poland only has differant kind of immigrants! Jaga As Pieter has rightly so mentioned, Poland and North America are spared of our problem of cultural clash and dealing with the ethnic differences between primarily Islamic groups. It is difficult for many of understanding of the brutality practiced by some of these groups, unless you actually witness the results. Berlin{Brandenburg} is one of the worse areas of such cultural clashes and associated violence, generally with involvement of Turkish extremest backing. This is generally backed by older established families of traditional Islamic practices for enforcement in areas of: arranged marriages/honour killings/youth wishing to distance them selves away from the barbaric Islamic traditions of the elders. The victims of these honour killings are for-the-most part, simply left on the street or where they were murdered as a signal for others to stay-in-line with the requirements of their elders. The other side of the Roman coin: Of these incidents that have been properly investigated and brought to trial. Are often dismissed or sentence handed down, so light as to make the cost of the investigations/adjudications simply a mockery of public resources expended for seemingly nothing. And then life continues on those effected streets as before. Fairly often, the local police as not to enlist Federal Assistance, will load up separately the Racial warring factions off the street, then transport them out of the area for release. Until the next occasion. With the most other foreign immigrants and guest workers, it is not so much of problem. It is of one occasion to maintain ethnic identification, but another to as of the Turkish {approximately of 2.5 million} to separate themselves as a parallel society and then place blame of their criminal actions as {differences of civilizations}. It is not correct and yet, our courts of responsibility will go far out to remove them selves from any occurrences upon their part that would relate to {Anti-Semitisium}. {I would enjoy one other comment of this subject: There is no reason of any immigration of people, to not properly integrate as a productive society of their host nation.} Karl
