The other day driving along the lake I saw what was told to me was a water spout. I have read and seen pictures of these from Florida Keys but did not think we had them here in NY. I guess this crazy weather can cause quite the unusual.

No lightening here but this was taken at the entrance to North Rim, Grand Canyon one morning. Talk about spiritual.

That would be called downstate. I am all the way up in Rochester, NY. Home of the yellow box (Kodak) which we are ever grateful who started this sharing with film.

That would be called downstate. I am all the way up in Rochester, NY. Wayne went to High School in Tarrytown ... I guess I should have just asked him. As you can tell my knowledge of NY (state) geography is weak. Wayne keeps telling me that one of these days we are going to get to Tarrytown so I can see where he grew up. I keep hoping that things quiet down here so we can visit.
