;D Carl, that was just another production by a Democrat that worships at the altar of Pseudo-Science. I saw part of that production but by the time it was half way done my head was spinning and I thought I might laugh myself to death. ;D

In Poland and Canada they have quite a heat. 10-20 years ago when the temperature was risen up to 90 degrees for 1-2 days it was a big news. Now, the temperature rises to 100 F for several days or even weeks and.... it is just hot! ' Did you hear about this glacier in Switzerland: Geneva - Europe's longest glacier shrank by 66m last year because of global warming, Swiss scientists said on Wednesday. The 23km Aletsch glacier in Switzerland's southern Alps was the second worst-affected in a study by experts from the Swiss Academy of Sciences. Overall, 84 of the 91 glaciers in the academy's study shrank last year. The findings are in line with those in previous years, said Professor Andreas Bauder, one of the experts who produced the report. Hardest-hit was the Trift glacier, which lost 216m over the year. However, noted Bauder, that was largely because it is surrounded by a lake. Because it is getting smaller it is gradually emerging from the waters - and that means it is likely to shrink at a slower pace, said Bauder. The Trift is around 5km long. Forecasting the future of Switzerland's glaciers is difficult, he added. While shrinkage caused by global warming is relatively easy to predict, snow and rainfall also play a vital role and they are harder to gauge. The academy also analysed the impact of global warming on three mountain ice caps in the Alps: the Basodino, Gries and Silvretta. www.news24.com/News24/Technology/News/0,,2-13-1443_1877591,00.html

;D LOL Jaga. At the end of the Great Ice Age, all those glaciers that were covering the Earth began to shrink but I don't think it was the fault of all those Mastadons, Cave Bears and Bisons that were wandering around. None of this bothers me a bit. (The sky is not falling). LOL ;D

Bob S,
Agreed it is a cycle the earth and possibly the galaxy is going through.

Bob,
I am not talking that Republicans or any other people are only responsible for global warming, although industry may contribute to it - but the effects of the global warming of whatever reasons are experienced everywhere
