Oh, and by the way . Dick Cheny took 5 deferments during Vietnam. 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For Dick Cheney this was a real loss of talent. He is a great shooter, this guy had a heart attack today.... hope he would be better. But this is nothing compared to Lewinsky's story that occupied mass media for 2 years! |

Well, I'm not necessarily in his cabinet: it was just one of my favorite bumper stickers when in college. Except instead of "Lewinsky" the word began with "W", and the forum doesn't let that word be used!
But I'm certainly not in the Kennedy cabinet either, unless it's their Liqueur cabinet! ;D

Piwo, I wanted to add the smiling face to my question about the cabinet  Referring to Kennedy - I guess there were a couple of different Kenneys and the one who was involved in some girl's accident is a different one who had a cabinet. By the way it was a Kennedy's speech that prompted people to the Moon! At least this is what I always thought. Later there was a time of Johnson (you can blame him on Vietnam) and then Nixon. But I guess, Nixon became the president in 1969 so he cannot be completely praised by getting people to the Moon, too little time! Unless the program was so speedy that they were ready in a couple of weeks. By the way - do you know the names of the Polish leaders at that time? |

Firstly, I think we can all agree: the next hunting trip should be in Ted Kennedy's car! As for Cheney apologized for anything, well, I'm sure he has but not sure what you refer. I'm sure he's apologized to the friend he injured and his family as he spent quite a bit of time there at the hospital with them. He wouldn't need to apologize for anything else related to this, does he? It's not like he killed someone, left them and ran away for a day. They he should be in prison. He was in a hunting accident: if he's apologized to the guy, then he's square. Do you see it different? |
