I have it and use it a lot. I use it to talk to several people in the US and Poland. I can talk to my cousin in Poland who has it on her computer for free. It is free from computer to computer and works well. I have never tried to use it to call a telephone because that costs money.

This is what I intended too. To talk to my cousins in Poland. They have the program and asked me to get it. I have a microphone from my other PC so wondering if that will work or if I will need to get the headset as shown in skype. So far due to time difference have not seen them on line to talk. Maybe this weekend. This will be great cause then can speak with all my cousins maybe that don't email and use computer over there

Any microphone and speakers will work. When you have them installed just click on tools and options. You can then click on adjust sound devices. Then click on make a test call to Skype answering machine. You can record a message and it will play it back so you know everything is working.
