I could not see your answer but I knew that you were trying to say something ;D Well not really Jaga but in Spain a nice salad is made, with Octopus as the main ingrediant. Additionally, for all you folks West of New York or Virginia. A Sharks fin can be made to look and taste like Scallops. Only a Scallop fisherman would know the difference. Next time you go to a Fish Restraunt and order Scallops, what you get may be Sharks fin instead. ;D My wife makes a wonderful soup with Penna, Shrimp and Clams. The problem is I like and eat so much of it that it could last for two days but on the 2nd day I say "more please!". ;D ;D ;D

Hello everyone:
I ate "flaczki" and "czarnina" as a child. My mother made both soups. "Flaczki" was preferred to "czarnina" at our house. "Flaczki" was an alternate to chicken noodle soup. "Flaczki" a replacement for noodles.

Well, when Renata (my fiancee) was visiting Spain last year, she was introduced to the "wonderful" (not!!!) delicacy of eating pigs ears.... I almost pucked from her descriptions... dvc

I almost pucked from her descriptions... dvc ;D ;D Pigs ears aren't too bad. You can also try cooked Sparrows (couldn't stomach that one). Pigs Ears? what is the difference between that and eating Pigs Feet? I think the ears might be more cleaner than the feet. ;D ;D

Well, it was really her description that was soo .. ah, yuck!! all gristly and nasty tasting It wasn't a cleanness thing Yea, they sell pigs feet in the markets here, but, I dare say I haven't tried it.. looks quite nasty to me Cooked Sparrows... probably would have no desire to try, but who knows However, the absolute most disgusting food I've ever heard about (and I'm surprise it wasn't on the top 10 list!!) is Pigs Face ... apparently this is a Christmas tradition in ... hmm, was it Sweden or Norway? ... anyway u eat it with the dead pig staring at you The eyes are ... apparently ... the ultimate of culinary delights (? ) I heard about it from a report on NPR "All Things Considered" (radio) and the description was quite stomach turning The reporter managed to actually eat much of it, but couldn't quite force herself to try the eyes dvc
