Hey folks, I went and gave away my gas barbque to my son. In it's place I ordered a 'Royal Oak Charcoal Smoker/Grill.' I ordered this item through Lowes and it has come in and I put it together. This past weekend I proceeded to try it out. I am not ready to smoke anything yet but as a grill/barbque it works like a champ. It was manufactured in China of course. Used to be built in Tennessee. Heavy guage metal and good solid grates. Now I have grilled tenderloins, some prime rib steak, hamburgers and hot dogs to date. This coming weekend I will tempt faith with some great kielbasa. I can order a side attachment that you use as a smoker. I believe I will do this and try some of the pork recipes from my kindred spirits down south. Anybody have some good to great charcoal barbque recipes?

I haven't even been to a cookout in many, many years... and then, I usually stuck to the potato, macaroni, and fruit salads, followed by loads of cake.
