Since North Korea is threating to launch a missile the US said:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States has moved its ground-based interceptor missile defense system from test mode to operational amid concerns over an expected North Korean missile launch, a U.S. defense official said on Tuesday.
The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed a Washington Times report that the Pentagon has activated the system, which has been in the developmental stage for years.
“It’s good to be ready,” the official said.

Ever notice how Iran and Korea take turns? One flares up, and the other remains reletively quiet, then the other starts up again. Whether working in actual cooperation, they are de facto allies. They keep this country concerned about nuclear matters while it's troops are engaged in two major hotspots, and others in Europe as well.

The North Koreans, yes, once again they miss the spot lights and glamour of being a tough guy. More or less as that of the Little Man syndrome. Well, perhaps if the truth was actually known of their grand weapon, the truth most likely would reveal it to be more a propaganda medium then some thing to be feared. IMO N. Korea is trying to get attention. It will soon offer its citizens as cheap labor globally. Presently N. Koreans are building railroads in Russia. Carl

Well, if the North Koreans are exporting labour, and cheap. Well now, I could place some to wash my auto {must meet specifiacations}, compersser blow off our walk way and verandia. Do the store run on foot and not complain of the heavy sucidal traffic {they must first promise not to run over any one, or recieve a speed ticket for running too fast}.
Of course, all bills to be forwarded and paid by the North Korean goverment.
I believe this would be an excellent promotion of cross cultural affairs between the North Koreans and the North Americans. My wife would be happy, I would be happy and those North Korean runners that survived the traffic here, would of course be happy.
Now then, if I could only figure out a method of defigurization into proper English, my wifes Ohio dialect so I would no longer be in trouble for not being able to understand her...

Charles, N. Koreans may buy & operate convenience stores in USA. Carl Carl This will be very interesting. For one, the South Koreans have for some time been quietly moving in with purchasing property for mini mauls containing only Korean out lets. These out lets represent most services in the food service industry/medical/dry goods and other goods and services. Just try and ask one of the clerks as to where the popcorn isle is: The reply is usually a blank stare with an eye scan from my shoes to my hair, avoiding eye contact, then the whaaatttt, waaat issss popy corrrrrn? Noooooooo, therrrrrr issss nooo popppyconnnnnnnn herrrrrr. Welllllllllllll, this makes me pissssssed and I stammmmppppp my foot as harrrrd as I cannnn on their dammm floor and find it my self. It is a real pleasure to simply stay away from those Korean retail areas, and do my shopping at a real life store attended by real life American folks. Many of the smaller shops employees are Ukrainians now. They are very attentive and smile often, and besides, I like them better. The Korean shops, are best left to the Koreans, and, some of them stink. Is this being racist? Charles
