J.J. Thank you J.J. for the memory! Yes, once and only once was I to eat a slice of Haggis.........It is an experience to live through, for this I must say.. It was an evening I was invited to attend by two very dear and lovely couple of British. They belonged to The Club of {Daughters of England} in Hamburg. I wish to describe of the English, They Know How to do The Club! And to my deterement... It was filled with some Scots and many Britisher. One Scott was attempting to beat a piano to death with some music I have little idea of, whilst all this time, the remainder of people were singing, smoking, drinking and enjoying a glorious time. My self? Yes, I found a stuhl of safety at a table of sanctuary, with a nice whisky drink. Then, through the smoke, singing and piano, there arose a great shout. One of the fellows followed by the crowd, paraded around the smoke fill room with a large plate with some thing hot and steamy upon it. I then made a very grave mistake, and ask one {What is that?}. Then spotted, I was the goat to try the 1st slice. Ohhhhuuup, it took a glass of whisky to drown out the taste, for the taste was overwhelming to say of least. The good? I survived. The bad? I do not enjoy to eat Haggis. Final opinion of the Brits and Scotts? They are a good people, they know how to enjoy life. But, jeepers do they place a good party! The following morning: My head hurt, my stomach was between the top and bottom, my eyes? They felt as of daggers through my loused brain. But, it was very fun, and I would have enjoyed to attend another party of such, but the opportunity was never to return. No, I am not fond of Haggis, but to others, I will very gladly offer my slice. For those with out familar of German, the following is url of description. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HaggisKarl
