Poland celebrates Easter see some pictures: www.thenews.pl/national/artykul128776.htmlOn Saturday, many Poles go to church with an Easter basket, known as a œwiêconka, which traditionally contains coloured eggs, pisanki, as well as salt, horseradish, sausage, bread and other regional variations on a theme. On Easter Sunday, Poles across the country and abroad will sit down for a celebratory breakfast, usually served with cold meats and other specialties. Many traditions are observed up and down the country in the run-up as well as during Easter. For a look into a couple of these traditions, particularly in southern Poland, we invite you to listen to a special programme for this Easter period, beginning from Palm Sunday up until Easter Sunday. First, we go to Lipnica Murowana, a village 70 km south-east of Krakow, where every year there is a competition for the tallest palms, some of which exceed 30 metres. (Picture right). Traditional dress in Ma³opolska, southern PolandIn Tarnów, 80 km due east of Krakow, there is the annual pisanki competition, hosted by the Ethnographic Museum there. Thousands of eggs and over 200 participants, all together in a celebration of egg painting and decorating! (Picture below) Also in the programme, we talk to Father Marek Krawczyk CM, a missionary from the Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes in Krakow.

Jaga Thank you for enter of this most important date for us as Christians, follower of Christ. It is most significant as being of a most important miracle of assurance, that God is real. It is so unfortunate of one that being Nathanael is not here to provide a much better description for us. But, we must do as we must we what is available to us as mortals be. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EasterKarl

Kai So, you have now to start into the Prairie provinces from Alberta , at least to have survived the steep Alpine passes from BC... I see you have been exposed to the Ukrainian people of Canada. but, have yet you to meet some of their brethren,{Doukhobor}? For as you enter more into Saskatchewan, this becomes historic area of early Canada. For many of these families recieved a Kings grante in land. The Kings grant in Canada, is extremely rare, for it gives to the owner, all and all complete rights to all that is of that portion of land. www.doukhobor.org/Maps.htmI think perhaps you are our glob trotter keep up the dispatches and keep us currant There is also a safety factor of dispatches, for this in the instance of some thing bad were to occur, the last location would in turn be the initial location of search.
