livia I see you have completed some research. The photos of our military, very impressive as combat hard solders, are they not? Very much to be feared. Yes, they are children and old fellows, this was all that was left, other then a few battlans of SS Panzer. Charles Yes, they were ferrocious fighters according to this war poster. Children of Breslau. www.festungbreslau.wroclaw.pl/galerie/twierdza/breslau/kinder.jpg

I do hate to say this after the work you have placed into this but, the url returns with {Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage}, darn, and I was looking forward to viewing.. I will retry tomorrow site possibly down for maintenance. The url address as beginning is:-FortressBreslau-this is a very old prussian city in origen. Now is in Poland {your land} very violent history that city. Your question of {wage advance}? It is prepayment of wages prior to actual pay period time. This inturn is deducted from your payment Cheque. As for an example: My wage payment would always be, day 25 of each and every month. I have a shortage of funds due to an emergency, so with agreement of my employer, I ask for a wage advance on the date 10. The amount forwarded to me for my emergency is then deducted from my normal payment cheque of 25th. Charles

Prussian? hahahaha As far as I know, Breslau is in Silesia which was an autonomous region for centuries and different cultures coexisted and colived there. Imposing only Prussian rule in Breslau is against historical facts. But I know you are saying it to provoke me so I won`t answer it in my usual style!! hahahahaahhahahaha Thank you very much, I vaguely grasped the sense of this thing but you offered an example and now I understand it fully. I am very grateful.

Thank you gentlemen! The PCF doesn't stand for Polish Culture Forum. It stands for Provocations Continual Forum, yeah? ;D ;D ;D Or do we just have all mixed up here Charles placed one of the oldest spots of Slavic settlements - Wrocław (Breslau in German language), in the Old Prussia. While Wrocław is situated in the South-West and the Old Prussia was situated where all the other Baltic people were or still are, in the North East... Pawian , suprisingly unprovocative, refers to Wrocław, a city older than 1000 years, which was of course never under Old Prussian rule. The city was under the rule of a long time past dissolved ephemeral Kingdom of Prussia for a brief period of some 150 years. Later on Wrocław was a part of Hitlerian German Reich of course. And finally the city was liberated and back under Slavic rule. BTW. ;D ;D ;D History of Wrocław very nicely illustrates a trend in Europe of Slavs coming back to the once lost settlements. The same process has begun for the city of Berlin, now under German rule, once a Slavic settlement, now slowly becoming Slavic settlement again ------ I have provided very nice pics showing where is Wrocław and where the Balts - Prussian were. But the page doesn't accept pic. Is it transient or no more pics for good?

This is a new photo taken now of the German Army. Did you see Charles in the photo ? Now you have it all wrong, I am the fellow behind the camera whilst serving in the Bundeswehr. Those other fellows, are stand ins. We were whilst in Grundwehrdienst using this to shame the felllows of Wehrdienst. {Wehrdienst is a way out of military service, they do public service in the stead} {Grundwehrdienst, is our basic military training} I am not sure the name you have for these situation. Charles Bravo!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

As you have brought forward, this is a history of Europe, the proceeds of war. Yes, I do speak in absolutes, must remember to stop that habit. Thank you for your contribution Charles

So you de-idealize a picture of Poland reminding the children fighting some 70 years ago... Besides, those who never been to Poland mostly have an impression Poland is some folk heritage park. Add to that a picture of Poland as presented in the USA by Poland's open enemies - which is part of American Jews, and part of the American Germans. I think most of the Poles don't care as much as you do how we are seen , Pawian Charles does care a lot how Germany is seen and does his little propaganda of success. Talk to him! ;D ;D ;D I don't know. I know my Grandpa went to fight while underage. He run away from a cellar where he was locked to prevent it. Who else and how anyone was to protest I don't know. We can discuss anything. I object making a 'Polish controversy' from 'human controversy'. And I have demonstrated its universality. I am not as fluent in English as you are but I too like playing linguistic games sometimes (look at the thread title First - look at the pictures I provided. These German innocent boys are 16? Second - even if that were true I don't understand your point. Self-flagellation!!! ;D
