This is a very smart, handsome, intelligent, beautiful girl. Despite her suicide attempt I hope that she will have a good future. I you have an alcohol parent you have an unstable youth, with a disfunctional household, lack of safety, warmth (no heating) and no security. But now she has people looking over her. Her teachers and psychologist. I hope she makes it and will not be an alcoholic herself in the future.

The Apache people, based in the Southwest of the United States, have many spiritual rituals, ceremonies, and myths. One prominent rite of passage of the Mescalero Apache, the initiation ceremony for a girl into womanhood, involves the entire community’s participation. Community members take part in a four-day feast and celebration, which ends with a blessing of the community by the initiate.
