Happy Easter!
Radosnych Swiat Wielkanocnych!
Today in Easter Monday, called also Smigus Dyngus since in this day boys and men spray with water the girls they like. If you are a girl and you are not sprayed enough that means you would not get married soon since you are not popular enough
Easter Monday is also a day free from work in Poland.
We have plenty of articles related to Easter. We need to remember that Easter season does not finish with Easter Sunday but it goes for 6 weeks until Corpus Christi and Pentecost.
Here is a huge selection:

Here is the e-mail I received recently:
Dear polishsite,
I am a teacher of Art & Design working in Ayrshire, Scotland. I am writing to draw your attention to a new free-subscription online magazine called ?Scotsbarszcz? at
www.scotsbarszcz.com
It is the brainchild of a Scottish journalist friend of mine who is seeking to promote Scottish-Polish links through this publication.
I was delighted when I was asked to contribute to this magazine, as I have a long-standing interest in Poland and things Polish. The current issue (no. 3) carries an article written by me on page 17. It is a personalised view of first Gdansk and then Wroclaw. I am always looking for the opportunity to write about Poland, and I wonder if you accept submissions in the form of travel articles. I am not seeking payment.
My next ? actually my tenth ? visit to Wroclaw is in two weeks time. I hope to return with material for more articles.
