No this is the cream cheese I am talking about and when ever soemone says cream cheese this is always the one they are speaking of even though there are many other soft (cream) cheeses. We usually spread on bagels (most popular) or use to make cheesecakes ans sometimes dips for crackers, chips. Aaah, you mean a creamy version of farmer cheese Still, despite my crazy tastes, I would never put fish eggs on it! hahahahahaha

Sometimes we experiment and buy exotic sort of fish whose name is soon forgotten but taste remains with us for long. Does anybody know the name of this fish? Pawian, It's hard to tell from the image, but could this fish be either catfish or hake?

Pawian,
From my take it looks like a 'Sea Robin'.

These eating emages come by and go by so swiftly, it is difficult to keep.
That little ugly bugger? That is a deep water fish, a {Grau Gurnard}. Certainly not caught off the fishing slip.
Was he much of a fighter at the market?

Pawian, From my take it looks like a 'Sea Robin'. Yes, exactly. It`s sea robin. A very tasty fish! But very rare in Polish stores. That`s why I bought it. I was afraid there wouldn`t be another chance.

Slip or lip? Yes!!! How did you know? He was wriggling and waving his powerful tail from side to side, sweeping everybody off their feet in the perimeter of 10 meters!!! I had to use my teeth to bite hard and make him stop that!!! And you know what? When I ripped his belly open, I found a flat tyre inside!!! What a shark this robin was!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha

There are a few kinds of it: thin or thick. I prefer thick one becaue it can be sliced, held in hand and lifted into one`s watering mouth more easily. Soon I will post pictures of it. Yummy!!!!

Kaszanka is good stuff. My mom likes to get the thin kind and break it apart and fry it up with some sliced pieces of kielbasa. But here is the meal I had before I left home for college (Probably my favorite meal): Ziemniaki z cebula, kotlety, buraki, i mizeria

Poles also eat a lot of poultry. Usually chicken, often turkey, occasionally ducks, seldom goose, hardly ever wild poultry like pheasants, never storks!

Poles have always loved eating large quantities of meat, and kotlet is certainly a big piece of meat. I remember, in communism, due to meat shortages, it was a royal dish. On your pics there is tasty mizeria. However, the most popular addition to kotlet is boiled cabbage which I hate!

As I said, there are too kinds of black (blood) sausage. Thin and thick. The latter is called not kaszanka but krupniok. I prefer it to kaszanka because it has bigger seeds of kasza (cereal) which are deliciously al dente, i.e., a little tough.
