Wonderful pictures you posted today!
I had to show hubby the Church. He is a carpenter and really appreciates all the work and craftsmanship involved in these old buildings.

Mary Yes, I agree it is really amazing. I hadn`t known there are such churches in Poland, and, what is more, with such history attached to them. I saw it today while ooking for pictures of Polish Karkonosze Mountains. If you think those pictures are lovely, I will try to post more in the nearest future.

Pawian,
Thank you for the great photo's. Most of them are of the south of Poland, is that true? Do you take them yourself, or are they from books? Either way, thank you very much.

Pawian,
beautiful pictures! We need to remember that what you show - it was built by Germans mainly. It has a German architecture. As for wang kirka (church) it was originally Catholic but then Norway became a protestant country. It was also brought by Germans to Poland. I saw it, I also saw some churches of the same sort in Norway, I will try to post a picture later on.

Pawi Super pictures of some super places - you are lucky to be able to get to photographers' paradises - but the next best thing for me is to see your pictures. Leslie

Michael Dabrowski More exactly - in the south-west of Poland, near Jelenia Góra. I didn`t take any of these pictures, they are on the Internet, I said it a few times already. My pictures are in the thread Polish Impressions. There are a lot of them, why don`t you start going through the thread from the beginning?

If you think that you will get any compensation for the lost property in Poland, you are wrong. This was superpowers` deal and Poland was moved to the West without her consent. Go and ask the government in Berlin for compensation! Besides, most what was left after Germans was destroyed or damaged and had to be rebuilt. Poles did it and now it is all Polish!! Take your hands off us. Huh!
