Dear Charles, thank you so much for your open answer. I've got you point very well. Please let me assure you that I absoloutely differentiate the perpetrators from the past generations from todays Germany inhabitants. However, since we discuss openly, I have to say that one point in your letter has bothered me a bit. You've wrote
"The cruelty and murdering of other people rather it be in combat or with the camps. I very well know and understand what happened and of the events. But, I also feel the reasons. I know and understand both sides of the coin very"
That would mean that you abviousy have a great advantage over me. I cannot understand the reasons of killing millions people just because they were Jews, or Polish, or Gypsy...
Finally, pleae excuse my awkard questions, I undestqand that we are here for other reasons than personal confessions. I wish you all the best

In retaliation to those rascal Russians for their unprovoked attack on Polish exports, I will give up eating Russian Cavier during Lent and I will never, never wear any Russian furs. LOL

Aadom Not to worry now my friend, no question is awkward, the only question that is awkward, is the unspoken question. Yours was an honest inquiry, and for this, I as a person hold the highest respect for, it only shows, you are interested. I am not a historian, not by a long shot. Nor, am I particularly interested in the past Hitler business. I was trained as an investigator and researcher. What ever sensitivities I may have had so many years ago, were burned out. But your question: My meaning was not as approval of the murdering of Gypsies, Jewish or Polish people. My actual meaning of understanding was this: I understand the reasoning behind those actions. Not that I would approve of them (actions), not on this earth would I be in agreement of such an action. That is truth, and not because I am on a Polish forum, but from own personal intrinsic feelings. I am guilty of many many things, lies, inflicted hurt upon others, the manner of conducting my life in the past ,and I will face my maker in time with these sins. But, I am not guilty of approval of such murder as was conducted in that d**n war. Does any of this make any sense? Adolf Hitler, was a master of hiding his family and back ground. His was a master of disguise, a veil of secrecy. His (Adolf Hitler) family had a history of genetic mental illness. Also extremely probable, he was of Jewish back ground, the name (Solomon). There was no possibility he allow this to come to light. He had all family photographs destroyed, he had a relationship with a lady relative and then, kept her locked as a home prisoner until she was unable to stand it, and shot her self. His brother opened a bar in Berlin, and done quite well under the Hitler name. He (Adolf) forced his half sister to change her name to remove any association to him. The man (Adolf) was also a master at covering his tracks. www.moreorless.au.com/killers/hitler.htmlThe above url is a boring repeat of countless writing of him, but, perhaps if some new comes to light for you, then it will be worth while. I am taking a lot of medications and each of the little bottles warns me not to drink any adult beverages with this medication. ;D
