Whichever is your main Christmas meal, whether Wigilia on Christmas Eve, or a meal on Christmas day, post a picture of your set table. We can all enjoy each others feast! Mine won't be till Christmas morning, so it will be afternoon or evening on the 25th before I can post...

I don't think you would want a photo of my food. I'll probably be eating in the hospital cafeteria this year.

Well, that is not good news, and I hope whatever that brings you there will be resolved favorably very soon. Perhaps glimpses of some holiday feasts will bring a smile. Hey Rdy , You can join us ... we (Jim and I) are on our own this Christmas - his daughters are in Arizona, the rest of my family is ... well, not here, anyway. It will be a quiet Christmas weekend.

Well...we (husband and I) did Wilia at a friend's with her adult children. I was all set to take a picture of her beautiful table - she collects Polish pottery! - when....guess what...batteries in the camera had discharged. We are off to our son's family near Lake George tomorrow...so perhaps I'll be able to get a picture of that festive table...he is going to defrost some venison for the meat-eaters. He had to worktoday and will put in an early day tomorrow; middle daughter had to work over the weekend also, so she and her family are doing Wilia tonight along with youngest daughter and her family, as well as her in-laws. And so the tradition spreads... RDY...I surely hope you were eating in the hospital cafeteria because you were working...

Piwo What no smalec - I would have been disappointed!!! YUK! Leslie I'm bettin you're one of those, "glass is half empty" kinda guys...... ;D Maybe it was that the 8 bottles of Spumanti helped us through the hardship. Home made preserves have replaced butter/lard spreads for me....

Piwo,
you would have more pictures of the food. The author of the cooking book, Chef Baruch which books we present on the site read your message and sent a nice picture, you need to wait until I come back from Texas
